About Autolex

AUTO REPAIR

Located at 164 Ferris Ave, White Plains, NY 10603, Autolex operates as an auto repair shop serving White Plains in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In White Plains, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–5:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (914) 428-9101. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 31 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in White Plains and suggests consistent service.

Brian and Angel are the best mechanics. I have taken my vehicles there many times. They have always taken very good care of my car. Charge an honest and fair price.

They are trusted honest and reliable mechanics in White Plains. They take better care of my cars than the dealer Honda/Nissan. Brian is always willing to help out with reasonable prices.

All new or newer cars still under warranty cost about 5 times more than that same car out of warranty, the car out of warranty may still be a great car, but most people never want anything out of warranty, so they will always get a new or newer car, remain in debt, and wait for months for some dealership to fix a car still under warranty for free & that same dealership will always “create” something that you need to pay for & over charge you as well because all dealerships make far more money from the service department, than from the sales & parts department’s combined!!!! Just so you know, dealerships could “give away” cars and still make a profit from servicing or repairing it. Dealerships get away with this because most people don’t have or even know any good mechanics & don’t have the time it takes to find them!!! A new Bentley (for example) costs $400,000 & a used one can cost only $16,000, it’s still a Bentley, but it’s out of warranty, so it’s only 5% of it’s original price!!! At Autolex car repair in Whiteplains NY, you’ll find GREAT mechanics, that always charge a fair price, that won’t rip you off, that only change parts that must be changed for you to be safe on the roa

I wanted to thank Angel who checked my car battery a few weeks ago. I dropped in while passing the area and Angel was communicative about wait time and checked thoroughly. For now won’t need to replace, but I will be back next time as they are reliable and give great service.

When I'm in New York and my car needs servicing, this is the only place I take my car. The team at Autolex is amazing. They know their stuff, the pricing is fair, and they have an excellent turn around time. If you're looking for an excellent mechanic that can tackle any job, I highly recommend.
